Have you ever heard yourself say the words "sami Allahu liman hamidah" whilst coming out of rukoo?
Have you ever paid attention to what your saying: "Allah listens to the one who thanks Him"
Have you then realised what you say after that:
"Rabana walakalhamd. Hamdan katheeran tayyiban wa mubarakan feeh"
Translating as:
"Our Lord all praise is to you. Praise which is abundant, excellent and blessed."
Meaning: you are thanking and praising Allah.
Then what happens?
You fall into sujood, with all submission, subservience, humility in acknowledge of the one who CAN give you everything. Pouring your hearts desires in duas asking for everything.
Have you noticed the setup? Allahu akbar.
Allah tells you He listens to the one who praises/ thanks Him. Puts you in a position to thank Him and praise Him and then puts you in a follow up position where you can ask for whatever you want. The longer you remain prostrated; the more you can ask for.
Subhan'Allah- indeed my lord is the most truthful as He says:
"My mercy encompasses all things." AlAnaam
This is an embodiment of mercy. At least 17 times a day He puts us in a position to ask, for verily He answers.
"Call upon me, I will answer you" Al Baqara
